We had a terrific time during our stay! Perfect for our little family trip. The charming and homey little cabin is only 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga while still perfectly secluded on the side of the mountain. I will be telling everyone I know to stay here when visiting the area.

We had a great stay at Talking Water Nature Retreat. The cabin (we stayed in Blackbird) and the setting are both beautiful. Our children loved the tree swing and seeing the chickens. This was our second trip and we plan to come back again!

My wife and I spent a weekend at Talking Water Nature Retreat. We had an awesome time! We stayed in a gorgeous cordwood cabin that had all the amenities we could hope for. It was super cute! Bobbie, our host, could not have been better. She was very friendly and made sure that we were well taken care of too. We learned a lot about cordwood and other natural building techniques as well as enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Thank you for sharing such a unique and wonderful place.

Just wow! This place is on the repeat list! We just spent 4 days staying in the Goldfinch cordwood home while we took the workshop on learning to build cordwood buildings. The home was a work of art!! Everything you need while maintaining a unique setup. Enjoyed morning views of the mountains with coffee each day. Then, the class. WOW. She is a wealth of knowledge.
