I’ve been going to Talking Headz every month for years and Sarah always kills it with my hair. Especially considering I have split dye, she’s got serious skillz. Getting my hair done by her is the highlight of every month! I feel so safe and welcomed in their environment.

I came in with pretty long curly hair and left with a very thinned out unflattering haircut. The girl who cut my hair was very sweet an I usually wouldn’t leave a poor review but my hair is ruined. She used a razor and cut parts that are now too short to fix. If you have tight curls I wouldn’t trust this place if you care about your hair.

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere and queer friendly vibes. Other than that.... I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're trying to grow out your hair. I've been growing mine out for 4 years but you wouldn't be able to tell because any time I ask for an inch or two off they cut off 4-6 inches. Gini made me feel so confident about getting professional color for the first time! They were transparent about all the products used and took time to ask about my hair history. Love the salon in general cause of the vibe and pleasant folks 🥰 looking forward to my touch up!
