The place is cool, and the people are too. But, I asked for a haircut, and I got a completely different one. I hate it! One of the worst haircuts of my life. Never again! 50 bucks + tip In the trash.

September 2025 edit* *I'm disappointed to hear of the owner's choice to fire and ban the employees who were striking for better working conditions for themselves and the rest of the Talking Headz staff, as well as better living conditions for their shop cat Biggie. Talking Headz has been a cultural touchstone for the queer and alt community for over a decade and tbh, firing people for wanting better isn't very punk rock 😔✊ *Great haircut from Nox, great atmosphere, great cat!
Sarah is the best stylist I've ever had. You know when you get your hair cut and it feels weird for a few days/you have to get used to it? That never happens when she cuts my hair. Seriously bangs and everything. It just looks bang on every time.
