Dr. Powell has zero personality and always makes me feel bad about myself. She isn't very kind when talking about weight. Zero empathy. Very rude. I emailed questions and never got straight answers, she honestly just blew me off and the grammar she used in her reply was horrible. I'm super easy going and fairly easy to please but I honestly have nothing good to say about Dr. Powell. Heaven forbid you not get a flu shot and Covid shot. Dr. Powell is everything you want in a doctor! She is kind, thoughtful and listens. Like actually listens to what you have to say. I really love her and her practice. Totally recommend!
She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She is kind and a good Christian. She takes the time to listen to and address your concerns. Wait time is minimal and can usually get a very prompt response to mail thru portal. Very on top of her patient's health.
While I have only needed assistance with preventative medicine, colds and flu issues, I have always found Dr. Powell to be relaxed and willing to take the time to answer my questions. I am very pleased with her care. The 4 star review is not a reflection on Dr. Powell, but rather that I cannot provide feedback on her care in an acute situation.
Serious lack of compassion. I felt like just a number and not a person. There was no human connection. Because of this I didn't trust the information I was given.
She is caring and knowledgeable.
Couldn't agree more with a previous comment regarding her decline of late. I've been a patient over a decade and am now leaving. Not the caring physician she once was. No time spent with patient. Usually will ship you to her NP. I am moving my family out of the practice. At one time I recommended her often. Now, I fear if there was something seriously wrong with one of us, her lack of attention and unwillingness to listen may cause the issue to go unnoticed. Sad to say. Do not recommend.
Dr Powell provides great explanations of her diagnosis and takes the time to be sure that you, the patient, has a good understanding of your conditions.
I have seen her a few times and have had excellent care! Office staff was very helpful and nice. They have their own Xray department and Lab within their office which made it easier for me to have my Xray and labs done in one place.
