Fantastic food. Fresh seafood, great hush puppies, friendly servers....we had a really great experience and excellent meal.

Everything I have ever had at Tale of the Whale has been excellent. Love the She-Crab soup as well as the seafood platters. If you go you won't be disappointed.
Food was delicious . Very nice relaxing atmosphere. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. Prices were reasonable
A must do if you come to the Outer Banks . Crab dip , Whole stuffed Lobster yuengling x 3 a pinacolada Im stuffed 😀

Called ahead, we were seated in 15 minutes. Food came out, was enough for two meals. Food was delicious, waiter was great. I highly recommend this establishment.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been here but will definitely be coming back every year. To be honest I’m not a fan of seafood so the OBX can be tough for me food wise. I had the Steak, Chicken, and Ribs and my wife had a seafood special. We both agreed that this was our best meal we’ve had down here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming!
