I was very impressed with Takoma OldTown Auto Service. Took my car in to have the brakes serviced and the oil changed. Shop told me that the brakes looked fine even though they sometimes squeaked a bit. Really appreciated the honesty and will definitely be taking my car here next time I have an issue.

fantastic shop, very honest people with good prices. did a diagnostic there for free and gave me several options as to what i could do, with no pressure. would absolutely recommend

Had my car's Maryland inspection done from this place, it is old but good car so I was worried, it passed. They are very honest and skillful, so I got few repairs done recently. Only thing is they are not open on weekends, good for them, and closes at 6 pm on weekdays, though allows car and keys drop if you come after 6 pm which is great.

I am so grateful to this team! I had taken my car to another mechanic earlier in the morning. They quoted me twice as much and told me they didn’t want to work on my car because it was too old (2006 Prius). Everyone at Takoma Old Town Auto Service Center was so kind, helpful, and transparent from the start. They were considerate of my budget during these trying times. I will certainly recommend them to anyone and return the next time I need car support. 🙏🏼

I’ve taken my car here twice and both were wonderful experiences! Winter and his team are no frills and no bs :) they are quick and to the point. I feel very comfortable to recommend this auto shop to all my female friends. I will continue to take my car here in the future. 10/10
