I have been in the bicycle business most of my life, having worked for my Dad's company, Chevy Chase Bicycle Service, since I was a little kid. I love bikes and love riding all types of bicycles. Fantastic tune up specials twice a year (I think), attentive staff, quick repairs or an honest estimate of when you can expect your baby--I mean bike--your BIKE to be ready.

Wow! Spent last 4 days thinking my bike was totaled after another bike shop near my breakdown site along Cap Crescent said would cost >$500 to fix. Took it to Bruce today who fixed it for $60 parts and labor. Very impressed!
My son was very happy ....thought we would have to leave the Bike but they was able to fix it within 45mins or less good cause we was on Public transportation. ...
I will never go back to this place again in my life and I will tell my friends and members of the community not to patronize this bike store . They damaged my bike and didn't complete the work. This place really sucks for so many reasons. Thanks for nothing owner Bruce Sawtelle.
