I printed a coupon for a $25 oil change from their website before heading over there. When I got there, they said that oil change wouldn't work for me, and I would need to get the higher mileage oil change. They did a good job explaining oil change options to me, but I ended up spending $60 for an oil change. Most I've ever spent on an oil change, usually get it from Hibdon or dealership, and its been about $35. I went in roughly 4 months ago, and was not pleased at all. Among the issues I had during my visit, not checking coolant etc, I find out as I’m getting an oil change somewhere else that Take 5 PUT THE WRONG KIND of oil in my car. I don’t know everything about cars, but I know darn well what putting the wrong oil in it can do.
Went to get an oil change and was ask what oil I would like in my vehicle. The guy kept trying to sell the most expensive oil. When I told the guy which oil I wanted he tried to tell me i needed the high milages oil, nope the car isn't even close to 75,000 miles. Then he walked away and got someone else and he told me he wouldn't put that oil in the vehicle and just wanted to up sale to a more expensive oil. I told them to close the hood and left. They won't be getting my business.
I waited 15 minutes only 2 workers there. One person in front of me was there when I got there. When I asked if it will take more than 10 minutes to change my oil the employee said yes I better come back when I have more time! Why is it called Take 5???????
The staff was friendly and the water for me & juice for my kiddo were a nice touch. But, it was a bit disappointing to find that the price quoted on the phone is for the conventional oil that they recommend only for older cars with less than 75,000 miles. So, it ended up costing more than I planned for. On the plus side, it was quick and the staff was friendly & seemed knowledgeable.
Amazing service! These guys were so kind and helpful. I will be back.
