Beware of Take 5 Oil Change on Durham and Gibson. If they mess up your car, which they’ve done on occasion according to others from Yelp reviews (many of the 5 stars are in exchange for a discount), they won’t pay up, and the owner will not return any calls. They contaminated my brake fluid when topping off fluids. Mistake from a young staff member, that they admitted to at first, but when seeing how much it was costing to replace all my contaminated rubber parts in my brake system, they denied it. Done with this place. Today is the 3rd time I've sat in the back waiting for someone to appear. Had to call their number, listen to the recording and then push a number to talk to the store. 3 guys same out after that. Another went to use a crowbar to try to pry open the bathroom door. They changed my oil in like 2 minutes, forgot to check the air in the drivers side. Then the bill was going to be $98.72. Who pays almost $100 for an oil change. I guess I do. The guys at take 5 on Durham are very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough with their work and that's why they've earned my business for well over a year now and will continue to do so! Great environment and the guys did a great job.
The oil change took longer than expected but the Stefan was up-front about it, apologized, and took care of it. Hands down some of the best service I've seen. I will be back.
This place is the absolute best. I switched over to them for my regular oil changes, wiper blade changes, and state inspections after I found them via Google. The great reviews encouraged me to give them a try and I have not been let down not once. All of the guys that I have met at this location have been kind, professional, and always friendly. I cannot rave about them enough.
