I just returned from Japan, and dining at this restaurant felt like an extension of my trip. The atmosphere is elegant, beautiful, and truly authentic. The quality of the food is on par with a top omakase restaurant in Japan. Chef Glen Kotlar is exceptionally talented and prepares each dish with great care while honoring traditional Japanese culinary techniques and standards. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s not just about the incredible food—it’s a complete experience that transports you back to Japan.
I was skeptical at first, but Takay Miami was absolutely worth it. The menu perfectly balances classic omakase with Miami flair, offering creative dishes that feel different from everything else in the city. Great quality, excellent value, and finally something new worth going back to.
