Ordered the makhani tofu over the phone. I was waiting on the phone with nobody saying anything for a few minutes before they took my order. 30 min later food was ready (around 9pm so was pretty empty so seemed like a while). When I walked into the restaurant there were some fruit flies and now I’m eating this food. Worst makhani curry I’ve ever had; way over salted, can’t even taste tomato or butter, the tofu is fine. Rice was fine too. $26.50 without tip is insane for this quantity/quality.
Awesome food! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Some of the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve had. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to enjoy amazing food! While the cost was a little more than what I'd be willing to pay on the average night out, the old adage "you get what you pay for" rings true here. From the quality and flavor of the food to the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff, I would recommend Taj Mahal to anyone seeking genuine Indian cuisine! Make sure to try the garlic naan and mango lassi!
We love Taj Mahal. Definitely the best Indian food you will find in Idaho. Waitstaff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food is cooked fresh by the owner and his wife. We’ve only been in three times and they treat us like regulars. The atmosphere is so relaxing and stylistic. I absolutely love the chicken tikka masala that comes with a side of rice.
