We started Tailwind Cyclists to give the Pittsburg, KS area and Adventure Cycling tourists a professional shop with small town friendliness. Meet the Business Owner Roger L. Business Owner After 8 years of racing road bikes full time and mountain bikes occasionally (1993 KS mountain bike champ) Roger & Rebecca Lomshek opened Tailwind Cyclists in 2000.

I cannot say enough good things about Tailwind Cyclists. I was riding through Kansas when I had a close call with a distracted motorist. I had to ride off the rode to avoid a collision, and in the process bent my front rim. Luckily, this happened about 5 miles outside of Pittsburg, Kansas. We contacted Roger and he opened the shop early the next day for us. He had my rim fixed and has us back out on the road within 30 minutes.
I want to thank the guys at Tailwinds for fixing my spoke issue on our Transam ride. I love how bike shops drop everything to help us quickly!!
