Manager With a desire to share their love for food and culture, Hiro and Kay opened Taiko's doors in 1979. Since, Taiko has remained the longest run family owned sushi restaurant on Long Island, and continues to share their vision today.

The combination of food and atmosphere is never lacking. Sitting at the sushi bar will give you a great scene of amazing chefs and great conversations. The food alone will beat any sushi you can find within 1000 miles. I love this place and will be back as often as I can!
Amazing as always! The food, the people. My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. One of my all time favorite place to eat altogether. Go for the food, stay and hang out at the bar. You will enjoy!
Sadly the quality of service and food has decline Gone are the days when you had to wait hours to sit down to dinner. Sad to see because this restaurant was amazing.
Taiko is amazing! The fish is always fresh and the sushi is awesome. Sit at the sushi bar if you can it is always the best experience.
Salmon is so fresh! Rolls are fantastic and so is the staff!
