RecommendedWe were a party of 8 adults and enjoyed a delicious lunch with the assistance of our very attentive server. Her humor and easy-going attitude was a bonus! Our food was delicious, ranging from chicken pot-pie soup to ceasar salad to Joe’s special steak to the iron skillet apple pie ala mode.
This was my second visit. Both times it was cold. Soup was warm, certainly not hot. My dinner also came cold. They took it back and the $30.00 steak went from medium to well done. Potatoes, gravy came cold again for a second time. I will not go back. Don't waste your money. I would have sent it back but I was trying not to be difficult while dining with a friend. They should be embarrassed. I go to other establishments and don't have any issues. This is basic, hot food is always basic. Come on Tahoe Joe's!
I ordered an Irish coffee. This is what I was served. I asked for Baileys and he said that's not how we make Irish coffee sometimes. It's just whiskey and coffee..... So he brought me a dressing dish of plain 1/2 and 1/2 and then confirmed this would cost about 7.50$ .... Tahoe Joe's, please coach your wait staff!
First time there last night it took forever to get someone to bring us menus had to get it ourselves than no one came to take our order had to go find someone to come over . Worst service in a restaurant that several people recommended. We ordered the dinner for two worst steak I have ever had most of the steak was all fatty by the time I cut away all the fat it went from a 10 oz steak to a 3 oz steak plus it was not very warm my friends steak was practically cold. After our experience, we will be back. With three cooks walking out, and staff helping out where they don’t usually work, I commend the manager and our server Emily A. For making our dinner experience better. Caroline, the manager, went out of her way to make my mom’s birthday dinner great. We as a group we applaud her and her staff. Thank you for everything you did and for going out of your way!!!

Had a delicious dinner Friday night although the portions have shrunk a bit over the past couple of years. However our server Heather was excellent and attentive.
