This doctors action were completely inappropriate. He walks in the room and literally gives me a head to toe and then states he likes my clothes. I just stared at him in disbelief at that point. He continues his "exam" Ill call it which consisted of him staring at my chest. Ill be finding another Dr at this point. There is no way I will subject myself to this man again. I passed the nurse on the way out and said something. She apologized for his behavior and suggested another neurologist.
On 04-01-19-14 Dr Taggart did surgery on my left Achilles’ tendon. It did not go well. The tendon did not stretch as it should have. The pain was so bad I had said I would not have surgery again. 06-15-21 I had surgery again and it. On the third time was not a charm.When the staples came off I watched the cut completely open up. He put another bandage on and told the nurse to call and make an appointment with the wound clinic so they could fix it. They called and said they could not fix it. I had to have a third surgery. Dr. Dolan met with me (I was a patient) for under 15 minutes in an appointment for a head injury (as confirmed by several doctors) from a car accident I was in. He then told me he cannot help me as the pain is because of my “Bipolar Disease.” As well as implied I had the “luxury” of feeling pain. Never in my life have I been so insulted. I do not recommend Dr. Dolan.
He made me wait about an hour and when he did show up he didn't do his homework to even know what I was there for. He's a joke
After obtaining a second opinion from another neurologist diagnosed me with stocking vibratory and sensory cold temperature loss, Romberg sign, & tandem imbalance. Along with subclass immunoglobulin deficiencies supportive of a connective tissue disease and combined variable immune deficiency syndrome compared to the cursory testing done by Dr Dolan. I dont know how he possibly could have missed all this except for flat out not caring.
Not much personality, but I guess I'm not paying for personality. Dismissive. Judgemental, i would imagine doctors who have made up their minds to treatment before actually meeting the patient are more likely to miss things. He wasnt open minded. Clearly hadn't read my file from doctor that referred me. Contradicted info my neurologist and rheumatologist have already given me based on spending about 5 minutes with me. He is pompous and rather rude.
Horrible dr. Rude and incompetent. I took a chance after reading all the horrible reviews and I regret it. After many surgery's in my lifetime I've never experienced such incompetence. In my opinion I'd seek a different dr. if you need surgery. I had to give a star to give review, if giving no star was option then I'd of not given him one.
Was sent to Dr Dolan to have EMG testing done by my PCP. He went on to lecture me on those doctors just dont even know what EMG testing is for. He gave me a 5 minute physical exam and sent me on my way. Its been two years since this appointment and I finally had EMG testing done which was abnormal to say the least. If Dr Dolan had given me a real exam and been say a "Dr" I would not have needlessly suffered for two years.
Dr. Ifantides Has worked with me through several major issues and I am very happy to have her as a PCP.
