high end, high quality outdoor gear When I joined a hiking meetup after moving to San Fran, I heard about Tad Gear. I could never afford their prices, but from what I'm told and have seen, their products last forever. I thought REI was on the high side, but Tad Gear is even more so. Their gear isn't pretty - it's functional and durable. Some of my hiking friends have been through the Sierras and back many times over using gear bought from Tad - and it's still in pristine shape.
