LOVE IT! – Tacos Por Favor is definitely no friday night date restaurant, but it is the perfect lunch or casual dinner option. It is especially perfect after a long salty, sandy, sweaty day at the beach. It is the only thing worth eating after surfing for 10 hours. The carnitas tacos are amazing. The vegetables are fresh. The service is lightening fast. If you want good Mexican, with a nod towards less fattening and healthy preparation, TPF is your place.
BEST MEXICAN PLACE FOR LUNCH – I love this place! I've never had a bad meal there and I crave it all the time. It's not the best atmosphere, it's kinda like a cafeteria, but the food is so good it doesn't matter.
Good Food, Good People – Tacos Por Favor was the perfect lunch spot after a full morning of surf lessons in Santa Monica. Definite Good Quick Mexican – I had always driven by this place but actually walked through the door for the first time last week. For all intents and purposes, the place is a hole-in-the-wall bustling with yuppies who occupy the office buildings and industrial parks in the surrounding area. amazing guacamole – This place is special...maybe not for a special occasion as it's pretty barebones...but mmmmm...the food is really excellent. It doesn't seem as unhealthy as some Mexican food. It's worth a try when you're in the area.
Perfect Fast Food Mex – This place shames Baja Fresh and La Salsa. This place is legit down home mex, and is as authentic as it gets in Santa Monica. Nothing fancy here, just some concrete floors, salsa bar, beer banners, and just great food.
Great food for a Great Price – This place has great food and serves pretty big and filling portions. I always make the mistake of ordering too much food because the prices are so cheap. Stick with a combo plate or a burrito plate and you're set for a good meal. The service is fast even when there's a good crowd, so it's perfect if you've only got an hour to spare for lunch -
Great Find in Mexican Food on the Westside! – Tacos Por Favor is definitely a gem on the westside. They serve up some serious food for Mexican food lovers. The menu consists of the usual...........tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas. The shrimp tacos are absolutely outstanding...........loaded with medium sized shrimp. Best Mexican Food in LA served by great people – Tacos Por Favor is owned by the Sanchez family who put a lot into this resturant. Their dedication shows in the quality food, fast service, a large delicious portions of hot, tasty food they serve, not to mention the fresh salsa and creative recipies such as the spinich burrito. Tons of great vegetarian options and he'll make it as mild or as spicy as you like it. Something the whole family will enjoy.
