I went for the first time last year to see La Boheme and loved it. It is very low key. The Rialto is a small venue but they do their best to make it work, and every seat is a good one!
Madame Butterfly was incredible last week! I don't know what I was expecting, having never been to the Tacoma Opera before, but I wasn't expecting to be absolutely blown away! The voices -- oh the voices -- were celestial. The whole production was breathtaking. I will be coming back for sure!
What a marvelous presentation of an old favorite! Madama Butterfly fluttered her gorgeous wings last night in a magical performance.
