I like this mall for walking around, the selection of stores is ok and it was clean. The reason for the low rating is that I spent over an hour looking for a place to get a sanitary napkin for my daughter and (spoiler) there aren't any. None of the stores sell them, none of the bathrooms had any (although a few had empty dispensers) Was told by a few employees that I would have to leave the mall to get one. Seriously? I finally got one from a group of women leaving one of the restrooms.
I love shopping here! I have a psychotherapy practice right up the street on Tacoma Mall Blvd and I just love all of the stimuli the mall provides in between clients!
The play area is so gross! Carpet needs to be replaced, but at the very minimal VACUUMED! Went there 5 minutes after opening and there was food crumbs and just general trash peices everywhere. Kids always get snotty nose after playing there even with hand sanitizer and washing hands. I try my best to avoid the place.
Came here on Thanksgiving at 445 and had to use the restroom was told the bathroom on the second floor was flooded so I had to go down to the first floor as I walked in the so called cleaning lady pointed out a stall she had just came out of stating it was just cleaned I walk in and notice of it was cleaned she’s blind because not only was the seat dirty there was also shit handy on the seat too not to mention blood on the little trash can in the stall it was flipping nasty and disgusting so I walked out and approached her a... read more
The Tacoma mall has 15 year old girls beaten and choked for riding a bike through their parking lot. I will never return, nor would I advise anyone with children to allow them onto the property, for fear of being beaten and choked by the overzealous Tacoma Police and mall security. The two officers are lucky that was not my child, they would not be alive today, to go around beating and choking little girls.
