We are a feline only veterinarian clinic with over 25 years experience. We also specialize in cat boarding. We have 24 "cat condos" that have plenty of space for their litter box, food, water and bedding with 2 compartments as well as 2 shelves to climb or lounge on. 20 of these condos are in one room, where the cats, if desire, can come out of their condos to stretch, lounge or play for a bit, by themselves or with other household cats. (We do not let non household cats mingle) We also specialize in handling ferals and less... read more

Great vet, no nonsense but great guy. He doesn't pad the bill and he seems to be a cat whisperer. Thanks to our one visit so far with our Manx GusGus, our cats attitude and health is much better. He is a great source of information and I will definitely go back to see him as long as he is in practice! My previous vet had retired and we were in limbo and thanks to the suggestion of my husband's mother we have a new vet!
My rescue cat is FIV+. Dr. Craig Smith and the team at Tacoma Cat Hospital have been wonderful and provided excellent care. Sam is healthy and happy, and I am grateful to TCH!
Dexter wasn't feeling well, so we took him in and discovered that he has asthma and was dehydrated due to not being able to keep water down. They gave him some medicine for his asthma and some liquid via IV for his dehydration. Within a few hours, he started to act more like his usual self. 2 days later, he's almost completely back to normal. The staff was great with him and Dexter managed to stay calm during the entire visit. I thought the rates were reasonable for the services provided.
When I lived in Tacoma this was the best place to take my cats. There are several places/things I miss from living in Tacoma and the Tacoma Cat Hospital is one of them. I lost one of my best furry friends and they were very understanding and helped me with her passing.
Our baby Noah is here and we miss him something awful! But we know he's in good hands.
Awesome place, kind staff had my cat boarding for a couple nights in one of the condos and came back great, she didn't even smell like cat or kitty litter :) Quiet, and secure, and cheap! Will be the only place I go for cat boarding !
I know my fur babies are well cared for here!! Caring and compassionate staff!
The cat only office reduces my stress level and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My Bengal Neo was the first cat to christen this location with his urine, he had a sample taken and couldn't hold it!
The only place that I will take my Siamese babies to. Dr.Smith is THE best.
