We are a feline only veterinarian clinic with over 25 years experience. We also specialize in cat boarding. We have 24 "cat condos" that have plenty of space for their litter box, food, water and bedding with 2 compartments as well as 2 shelves to climb or lounge on. 20 of these condos are in one room, where the cats, if desire, can come out of their condos to stretch, lounge or play for a bit, by themselves or with other household cats. We have been going to Dr. Craig Smith, Jen, and the wonderful folks at Tacoma Cat for over 10 years. Even though we have to travel the distance from Port Orchard to Fircrest across the Tacoma Narrows, we are happy to do so. Their compassion and exquisite care cannot be rivaled for your kitties!
Do NOT trust your fur-babies with these people! My cat, Amairah was spayed on 11-15-2016. Her surgery cost $348.50 due to the fact that my cat was suspected to have a condition known as Pyometra, Pyometra makes the surgery more complicated. Here is where this place crossed the line. Love Dr. Craig and the whole staff! Dr. Craig knows exactly how to handle my disgruntled kitty~ the place is filled with caring people and I'm grateful for them.
Dr. Craig is the only vet I trust with my babies. He's definitely the best one I have ever worked with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a vet. The staff is so kind and helpful. I know when I go there that my babies are in the best hands possible!

We have been bringing our cats here since 2007. Dr. Craig is wonderful, and the staff is very caring. You can tell they really love cats. I wish I could find a vet I liked as much for my dogs!
I've been bringing my cats to TCH for years. Dr Craig is a genuine, caring cat person as well as a smart, experienced vet with a great "catside" manner. He has a curiosity & passion for figuring things out when a solution isn't readily apparent. The staff is always great and professional. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.
Took our Kovu here for the first time this week & LOVED it! Dr. Smith was great with making sure we fully understood what exactly was going on, gave a clear plan, and did nothing but complement Kovu. I wish we had discovered them sooner.
My baby Mia had an excellent visit today. The staff is amazing! I would definitely refer anyone to bring their feline loves here. Thank you.
