I really liked it
Sadly, I have to report that my first visit back to the new, reopened Taco Tico was not a great experience food-wise. The meat tasted very bland, and that slightly greasy tang was missing. Both the taco shells and the burrito wraps were cold and tasted uncooked. My wife had the same experience at the Derby Taco Tico. Order taker was friendly, but service was slow in a nearly empty restaurant. Probably won't be back, as there are many better Mexican places in Wichita.
Taco Tico is simply the best fast food mexican there is. I grew up with it in Tulsa. I was seriously depressed when they all shut down in Tulsa.... BUT now that im in Derby I cant wait for you guys to open in May!!! Bring it on!! I will be there all the time-thats a promise!!! :)

Taco tico is #1 in my book and can't be beat.....been coming here since I was a kid.....please don't ever close again

I can't wait to visit this landmark that I had the honor of being on the original opening crew. Memories of slinging tacos with Keith Woodward and Jim Bothner in our cool polyester double knit uniforms and selling cases of beer out the back door!
