What a disappointment. I’ve come here multiple times and am usually really happy with my experience. This last meal was just awful. Chips were thick and tasteless, probably old. The pico was mostly onion with a tiny bit of tomato and a ridiculous amount of cumin. In fact, the entire meal tasted of cumin gone wild. Meat in the steak tacos had a dubious taste, again blanketed with a ton of cumin. Lettuce was soggy as if it was wet and old. Not sure if I want to return.
I've been to taco rico many times over the years and they have always been good. Some how they got even better. I am so happy I went back after a year hiatus.
Best Tex-Mex in Miami. I would post pics bit I ate it too quickly. next time. if you are from Texas and love tex-mex, this is your place
