I spent over $14 on a less than satisfying meal. I purchased the Taco Salad, Potato Oles, and a Churo. The Taco Salad was almost completely shredded lettuce with maybe 2 tablespoons of meat, and a slight sprinkle of diced tomatoes, very little cheese. The tortilla bowl was totally inedible to the point of gross. The Potato Oles were cold. I was so disappointed with my meal that I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. I used to love Taco John's food, but the quality is definitely Not what it used to be.
A favorite
Just ate here. The staff was SO inviting and welcoming. The entire space is very clean, with lots of fun decor. The food was fresh and not overly greasy. They have a Sunday family night. They are clearly taking great care to be a community operation. Highly recommmend!
