In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

I've only had good experiences here. I know some of the reviews are not great. But every time I come I've been helped quickly. My food has always been consistent. I get the Mucho nachos (beef) which are yummy. Also a large queso. I love their queso. Don't be afraid to give it a try!
To Summarize; 1) It's a new bldg. The finish out is great for fast food. Everything is crisp and clean. 2) The food is great. They have a condiment bar with Jalapeños, Cilantro, Sauce, Pico and Onion that makes it easy to customize your food exactly the way you like it. Their original sauce is awesome. 3) The service was quick and the staff was friendly. I have been choosing Taco Bueno for years and love it when I find a new one. I prefer their food over other fast Mexican food. Give it a try. Get the original sauce!
Taco = No Bueno
Takes forever
I am a huge fan of Bueno. Been a customer for over 20 years and was excited they were coming to Victoria but this location has been a disappointment. The chairs in the dining room are horrible, metal, no padding and small. The food is very inconsistent and the staff doesn't really know the menu. Glad they brought back fajita chicken. If they can get it together I'd probably eat there twice a week at least but it's just not worth it right now.
