Dr. Prime is the best! Dr. Prime is a fabulous vet. She correctly diagnosed a difficult problem with my cat when one of the supposedly best emergency clinics in the area could not, she gave him the exact correct treatment, and he recovered, which had been iffy. She's wonderfully kind to the animals, and to their people, and is a veterinarian you can absolutely trust to do the best for your animals.
Dr. Gossman Rocks!!!! He takes time to explain things to you. He has an excellent bedside manner and is very caring. I will DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone I know. His staff was veryhelpful, warm and professional. I was quite surprised (and extremely happy) with the cost of the visit. I called around the area to check the prevailing rates for what I was having done prior to going to Dr. Gossman and the rates were qui9te a bit higher than what Dr. Gossman charged.
Great practice I could not disagree more with the reviewer below. Dr. Prime is different than Dr. Gossman but still an excellent DVM. Dr. Gossman lacked a bit of bedside manner but was a great DVM. Dr. Prime generally cares about the animals and is just as qualified as any general practice DVM I have met previously. The office staff is also great and Aileen really knows her stuff. Switching Vets I loved Dr. Gossman!!!! Dr. Prime not so much. Dr. Gossman would see our animals no matter if we had an appt or not. my cat recently got sick on a friday (holiday weekend mind you) and she couldnt squeeze him in until that following wednesday. long story short, had to take to emergency vet that friday and spent a FORTUNE. Dr. Gossman would never had let that happen. not a fan and am switching vets asap

Money or care for your pets???? Dr. Prime is very nice, but she does not seem as knowledgable as other vets. She calls the animals "kids", but she doesn't seem very sincere about them. The other vet she works with was never introduced to clients except by him being the only vet there when you showed up. He does not return phone calls. The office seems to try to make money where it can. For instance, when going back for 3 more pills which should have been in the original prescription, the same charge as the 7 pills applied. Tackett's Mill Veterinary Hosp is Fine! Linda Prime is a great vet and I have been very happy taking my kitties to her. She handles them well and is knowledgeable about conditions and meds.....................................I think the fees are quite reasonable as well.
