Love Dr Gossman!!! Best vet I've ever taken a pet to. Even referred neighbors and friends to him. Only vet I would consider or recommend in this area. Patient, kind, thorough, good with all animals. The staff is very good. Always works with us to find best treatment for our pets. Our pets love to go see Dr Gossman and staff. When a friend's pet was having trouble, we suggested they take her to see Dr Gossman. He cleared up a misdiagnosis, changed her meds, and helped her so much. Great Vets I bring all my pets here. Even When Dr. Gossman left, Dr. Prime is just a great woman with a very caring spirit who is a great choice in replacing Dr. Gossman. I will continue to bring my babies here until there are new babies, and then they will go here as well. Aimee P
Money or care for your pets???? Dr. Prime is very nice, but she does not seem as knowledgable as other vets. She calls the animals "kids", but she doesn't seem very sincere about them. The other vet she works with was never introduced to clients except by him being the only vet there when you showed up. He does not return phone calls. The office seems to try to make money where it can. For instance, when going back for 3 more pills which should have been in the original prescription, the same charge as the 7 pills applied. Great Staff and Skilled Doctor... We were very impressed with this veterinary hospital. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the doctor was highly skilled. I felt that they were talking to me, and not down to me, like I have experienced with some other vets. I also liked how they have some dogs in the administration area... how did they get them to be so well behaved?!!! :)
Tackett's Mill Veterinary Hosp is Fine! Linda Prime is a great vet and I have been very happy taking my kitties to her. She handles them well and is knowledgeable about conditions and meds.....................................I think the fees are quite reasonable as well.
Following Dr. Prime I love Dr. Prime! She's been taking care of my animals for years, and I was thrilled when she acquired Tackett's Mill Vet Hosp. She really knows how to "speak" to dogs! I wouldn't take mine anywhere else.
Stay away Dr. Gossman did not listen to my concerns about vaccinations and proceeded to vaccinate a puppy that had just been vaccinated a week before by the breeder. No animal should be vaccinated that close together. He also gave the lyme vaccine which most vets are not recommending because of side effects. In no way should these vaccines have been given at the same visit in a 13 wk old puppy. I won't be returning to this practice.
He is the best Dr Grossman is a fantastic vet - knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I have been going to this vet for many years and have never had anything but a positive experience.
Took my cat in short notice, and did a great job My cat was having a bad skin condition, and this veterinary hospital gave me an appointment for him right away. The doctors and staff were very helpful and caring, and even provided follow up calls to make sure that he was doing better. The diagnosis went well, and they prescribed medications that did a fantastic job. I am very thankful.
