We had a great first “eye doctor” experience! Dr. Jensen was amazing with our 10 y/o — very patient and explaining each step in a way that made her feel confident and relaxed.
This place is wonderful. I’ve been seeing Dr Jensen for two years and she is absolutely the kindest, most patient and through eye doctor that I’ve ever encountered. I have some complicated eyes, and she goes above and beyond to help me see my best. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you have low vision issues and need someone to take a little extra time and care with you. She’s the best at what she does.
My previous eye-care professional ceased operations in Columbia, so after a little research, I made an appointment for today with Dr. Jensen at Essential Eyes. I was immediately greeted by Karen at the front desk who treated me in a friendly, professional manner. She also performed several eye tests before I saw Dr. Jensen. Place was great when Dr sneed owned it. Now they call multiple times to change appts because the doctor has taken on more than she can handle. Get to appointment and was told computer didn’t save your appointment but can try and get you in. Then tells you your insurance isn’t accepted anymore and that it is at another practice. Take off from work early again to go to appointment and was told that practice doesn’t take your insurance either. Very unprofessional. Will not be using any practice owned by Stephanie price again.
Had the best experience bringing my kids here and had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Dr. Jensen. She made the experience for my kids fun and easy!
