When my oldest son was married in 2008 I bought my dress at a retail store. I had so many issues with my dress that I told myself I would never purchase a dress for such a special occasion at a retail store again. I do not like to shop! I knew I had to get at least 2 dresses for the two weddings coming up this fall. I procrastinated shopping for my mother of the bride dress. I ordered online from major retailers & immediately sent dresses back. I finally realized I needed personal service & T Carolyn was the place to go. Feridee & Terrie were excellent & put me at ease. It was 6 weeks before the wedding. What an amazing experience we had. I flew in from Chicago to visit my sister and to go to T Carolyn Fashions looking for that perfect Mother of the Bride gown. My sister had purchased both of the dresses she wore for her two sons' wedding there and had a terrific experience. I had looked some in Chicago with no luck. The service was wonderful! We were there on a Saturday afternoon, so they were a little busy, but the sales staff and owners made this a stress free and fun experience! I am a plus sized mother of a beautiful bride and finding a dress felt like a daunting task, but I was so excited to find a store that not only caters to the mothers, but also takes the time to find a flattering style and color that is truly catered to the individual!
