I am posting as Patricia Atkinson-Battista, Carmine’s wife… My husband will post his own review as he thinks as highly of the practice as I do… We’ve been going to Dr. Szylit for several years and, quite honestly, we wouldn’t go to any other dermatologist for excellent care. I saw Dr Szylit twice where I had explained for several years I had a continuous rash of painful sores ,red inflammation,and that my hair hurt to comb .This rash would not go away .She took a swab to send off to a lab MIS-DiAGNOSED me with folliculitis Twice ! I am now in the late stages of alopecia Areota with scarring and losing my hair from this autioimmune disease ! I needed a biopsy not antibiotics or ointment.. devestating ??
My entire family have been patients of Dr. Szylit and Physician Assistant Therese Casas-Brown for over 5 years. They are extremely competent, compassionate and thorough. The staff is courteous and efficient. It is always a pleasure to visit the office. I whole-heartedly recommend this practice!
She is one of the best providers I have visit thus far. Very polite and staff is excellent.
Dr.Szylit is wonderful! I can't say enough good things about her practice. She takes time to listen to her patients and she really cares. She spends as much time as needed with a patient so you never feel rushed. If you're looking for a dermatologist Dr. Szylit is by far the best!
Years ago I went to Dr Szylit. I went for the first time in several years and was reminded why I stopped going to see her. Unfortunately, her dismissive demeanor isn't the only negative issue I experienced. Dealing with a skin rash on my face she provided no other information other than a prescription. Every question I had seemed like an inconvenience for her. Several friends have stopped going to her for the same reason and now see her associate Dr. Schwartz. I wont be back.
Dr Szylit is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable and friendly . She answers all your questions and concerns and never rushes you . The office staff is friendly and they quickly call you with any test results . I highly recommend Dr Szylitz.
