LOU DOBBS' BROTHER BOB DOBBS Lou Dobbs has a twin brother named Bob Dobbs, and this family owned bar hits a homerun. Language, borders, and culture is what is preached at this wonderful american establishment. The food is amazing. Flown in fresh everyday. This place is it!!!!
Food and service, no go! I have eaten at many of these small bar in food stops but none with such slow, rude service. The food was apalling, i ordered the taco salad which was nothing more then iceberg lettuce sprinlked with a handful of chicken and cheese with a dollop of whipped cream. If you are looking for a drink, maybe. If you are looking for a good lunch spot, Bob Dobbs is not it!
Clickish Old Timer Bar PLACE This place is awful. FOOD Service awful, food bad. OVERALL I can see that this dive has a UofA Alumni following. Will never go back and will never reccommend this place.
An unpleasant welcome to Tucson Just arriving from across the country, I stopped into Bob Dobbs for a beer and some food. The prices were questionable considering the fare, but I was consistently ignored by the staff when I wanted to order. This was summer, so no crowds - just awful service, even after I had specifically asked that someone come by to take my food order. Graffiti and dirty picnic tables can't make up for rude ineptitude. Thanks for nothing Bob.
"Where everybody knows your name" I've been a frequent Bob Dobbser since before I can remember. Every Tuesday, my friends and I gather at this friendly neighborhood bar to throw a few back and have some GREAT food! What do I love the most about Bob Dobbs? The staff. Hands down. They always look you in the eye and greet you the second you walk in the door. The staff almost always know what your "favorite drink" is, and has it half way poured before you're even at your table. Worn, rickety, wooden tables accompany mismatched chairs while local regulars and college kids share space at the octagonal, gazebolike bar in the center of the room. Justgosh After reading about Bob Dobbs on City Search, my friends and I went there to watch the NY Giants play the 49ers in the 2002 wildcard game. Anyone who saw the game would know this was the game to watch. Our waiter was rude once he found out we were there to watch the game. He brought the check at halftime. He could see well enough to see my birthday off my ID when he carded me, but not well enough to read the digits off my credit card when his machine didnt work.
