My favorite restaurant in china town!! – I eat at the noodle bowl @ least twice a week. The women that run it are the best~ They always know just what I would like to have...they are friendly promt and conversational....The food is incredible lots of vegie selections...I love the dumplings and the cold noodle....don't forget to have a green onion pancake and some bamboo shoots. Great Prices I could never cook food this great for so little money! yummmm!
Green Onion Panckaes and Soup – I have been going to this place on Christmas for as long as I can remember. It's a little hole in the wall with a friendly smiley woman who seems to never leave. There's often someone making dumplings on the table next to the one you're eating at. The green onion pancakes are cripsy and hot and makea great complement to any of their excellent soups. They serve Coke and Pepsi and keep your water glass full.
Authentic Chinese Food – Their dumplings are my favorite. Both of their sauces for the dumplings are tasty. One of the sauces is spicy!!! :-)
Bring a hanky – The beef brisket bowl with G.Onion Pancakes - get some pickles to dump in the noodles. Get ready - oh, wait, I need some tea - GO! Slurp noodles, nibble on pancake, wipe sweat, come up for air... Great place to eat - make sure there is a breeze. Might be just me, but I sweat a LOT when i eat there - not that it's incredibly hot food, but I just... sweat. My 7mo. old daughter likes it there - the Chinese being yelled back an forth between the staff and the kitchen is music to her ears (and she's not even Chine... read more
Wish it was franchised like Yoshinoya – They have a variety of medium-sized beef noodle bowls among which their Szechuan Beef Tendon bowl is my favorite. However, they are famous for their green onion pancakes and if you've never had one, get this side item to go along with your bowl. It's a small shop and can be full on some evenings. Expect a bowl to run $5 each. Their noodle bowls are in the Taiwan style.
Szechuan Noodle Bowl has a 4.5 star rating with 330 reviews.
Szechuan Noodle Bowl is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
