Hidden gem in International District – This was recommended by one of my friends. After hearing about how awesome the noodle soup bowls and dumplings were, I had high expectations. They were definitely surpassed! The menu is rather small, however, it was enough. I was surprised to see each of the dumpling orders came in 10 counts and it only cost $6.50 for all 10! These dumplings were also very big!! We ordered an order of pork dumplings and an order of vegetable/tofu dumplings.... I liked the pork better. My friend and I al... read more

Citysearch Editorial Review – Szechuan Noodle Bowl is one of those holy grails of the foodie community: a tiny restaurant in which you can get amazing and authentic dishes at dirt-cheap prices without any of the frills. The low sign above the door succinctly states the restaurant’s name, and nothing more. The menu is small and mostly consists of the title dish: Szechuan Noodle Bowl. Entering this eight-table establishment, you realize what a tiny operation this is, but it makes the food no less good. The service is not exact... read more

Best dumplings and potstickers – I do believe the potstickers can rival the ones in Taipei. The food is so reasonably priced. I highly recommend the potstickers, the spicy pork dumplings, and definitely the onion pancakes.

Great Value and Food – I think it would be hard to find a better value in the International Distircit. I think they have the best dumplings and green onion pancake in the International District. The green onion pancake is crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Its fun to watch them make the handmade dumplings at the table by the fridge. It is the type of place that if you run into a friend here you know they must have good tastse in food.

Best Deal In Chinatown? – You would be hard pressed to find a better overall value in Chinatown than this terrific little noodle house. Authentic, hand made Szechuan noodles are the cornerstone of the menu. However, many believe the best dumplings in town are the ones made daily here in a little corner of the dining area, usually by two ladies. And no meal here would be complete without an order of onion pancakes. Great authentic Chinese food, cheap, fresh, friendly service. One of the best deals in the entire city.

Weekly Treat – I eat the dumplings here almost every week. The spinach/tofu is my favorite.Everyone agrees about the scallion pancakes, they are super leftover for breakfast too. This is a dining experience worth having, and I think you could go on a first date there......as long as your date is not a snob. Just go somewhere dark and romantic after......they'll be impressed that you explored something a little different.

Very good!!! – I went to many China Towns, many resturaunts, Toronto, Chicago and Hong Kong. I have eaten noodles on both hemisphere's and this is up there with Hong Kong. If I ever have a craving for Authentic Chinese noodles in Seattle, I would recommend this place. Caution...if you have a large car try finding a place to park on the street. Their parking lot only accommidates 10-14 cars and has a steep slope. The astmosphere is more pleasent now they have re-modeled... Try the Wonton Noodles with Extra noodles.

Simple is best – Szechuan Noodle Bowl keeps it simple. I like their spicy vegetable dumplings (jiaozi), green onion pancakes, seaweed salad, and have occasional cravings for their cold noodle dish. The staff is pleasant, sometimes stuffing a tray of dumplings in the dining area while customers are making up their minds. Inexpensive, but remember to carry cash.

I'd die without them... – This place rocks.... Cheap eats, great food. The Green Onion Pancake is the best. Try the spicy noodle with beef tendon and throw in some Bambo shoots for a treat. This would cost you about $9 and there is now way you would be hungry.
