We chose Synovus because they used to own TSYS Payment Solutions. I make a lot of international purchases with my business, and our previous bank kept randomly flagging those purchases as fraudulent. We wanted a local bank where everyone would recognize us and say hi when we walked in the door, but we also needed a bank large enough to have a good grasp of international transactions.
