UPDATE as of June 2026: Even after repeated promises of permanent repairs, the HVAC system continued to fail. When management finally offered to terminate my lease without penalty, I was given only seven days to move or transfer to a unit on the same floor despite the circumstances. I had to inform the Community Manager that by law, I would need a reasonable move-out period so I can secure new housing. (05/27/26): PARKING GATE IS STILL BROKEN! RECENT car break ins! Stairways & halls are filthy and it's frankly embarrasing having guests visit & seeing the property. (04/28/26): Complex is no longer SYNC at West Midtown and has been rebranded as Collier Trailside under new ownership by TriBridge Residential. Residents were given same-day notice via letters on doors & no opportunity to ask questions or provide input before the transition. I’ve been living at Collier Trailside Apartments for a few months, and I can't say enough about how much I've enjoyed my time here. The management team is incredibly responsive and truly on top of everything. OB and Marlando, the maintenance crew, have been phenomenal! They are always quick to respond and communicate effectively. I recently had a new dishwasher installed by OB, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the service. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents are happy and comfortable. UPDATE as of May 2026: I am still waiting for a functioning A/C system in my unit. I originally tried to handle this issue privately with management before updating my review, but unfortunately the HVAC problems have continued for an extended period of time. Since moving in, I’ve dealt with repeated A/C failures, multiple repair attempts, a full HVAC replacement, recurring outages, elevated indoor temperatures, and ongoing disruptions while working from home.
