Dr. Fannin is a wonderful doctor. Full stop. Period. The problem I've run into is that the same level of quality care is not always reflected by her staff. Years ago, she had excellent office assistants, and if she couldn't call you personally to check on how you were doing a day or two after your visit, then her staff would call you. By contrast, in the last 3 years, she's had office assistants who are simply unable to keep pace with the needs of patients. This is unfortunate. This is quite possibly the most negligent "healthcare" practice in Austin, TX. I have never been more disregarded as a human in my life. They should not be in business and I strongly advise anyone with an actual health issue that needs real attention to look elsewhere! Dr. Fannin ordered an MRI for my lumbar spine in May of 2016. I immediately discovered that I had a major spinal issue that requires pain management and surgery. I've been going to Dr. Fannin (nee Nguyen) for about 8 years now, and have always been impressed with not only the doctor, but her staff's knowledge and dedication to service. I've dealt with lots of GP's, and the knowledge and dedication to quality exibited by the staff can make all the difference, from recognizing who you are, and making sure the Dr. has the correct records, to saving you tens of thousands in medical bills/fights over same with your insurance company.
