I took the Tamale class yesterday with a friend. We had a great time and learned so much. We then had a great dinner which was so yummy. Each of us bought her cookbook and I am so happy to see the recipe for salsa was included. Can’t wait to go back for more classes. Thank you.

Loved hearing about Sylvia's story and learning her secrets to great enchiladas. Can't wait to try them in my kitchen and return to the restaurant for fajitas!
Not as pleased as I was with the Dairy Ashford location where I went regularly. We were seated right away but at a tall table. Not sure why, since there were regular tables available. Service was fine, food was good except the portions of rice and beans were smaller than at the other location. Was also over charged for one of the margaritas, but that was immediately corrected. The margaritas were great. Probably won't be visiting as often as I did the other location, but still plan on going back.
Loved this place... Right from ambience to the food.. it filled up fast and gets crowded quickly....
Took Sylvia's Tamale class in a very comfortable informal setting on Eldridge with 2 friends and we had a blast! We were also treated to dinner with her award winning enchiladas! Can't wait to try fajitas and tacos next visits! Sylvia, Daniel and Hazel treated us very well.
Great service but something's missing; the food didn't quite meet the standards of the Dairy Ashford location. Plus, they had an extensive tequila listing but they reduced it to only 20. What happened?
