My husband had a very positive experience getting his CT scan and MRI done. They respected his appointment time, and the entire process was quick and efficient. The staff was very kind, cordial, and professional throughout, which made him feel comfortable and well taken care of. We definitely recommend them.
I am extremely disappointed with the experience at Griffin Cancer Center. My dad, who is a cancer patient, was given an appointment for 1:15 PM, yet we ended up waiting 6 hours. That is completely unacceptable and preposterous! It is appalling to make any patient wait that long, but especially someone who is already going through the physical and emotional toll of cancer treatment. Decided to give UHEALTH a chance after several years. Would have rather not given them a chance, had I known what I would be going through from the moment I walked in to get my CT calcium score test it started off on a bad note. I had already done the pre-registration in the parking lot, which provided the option to pay $25 online at pre-registration or in person. I opted to pay in person. BIG MISTAKE. My daughter had an appointment today for a CT scan. When they called us 30 minutes after the appointment time, the nurse pricked my daughter in both arms three times. One of those times, the vein burst. She called another nurse, and after they were finally able to do it, even though my daughter kept saying it hurt, they continued. Her arm swelled up a lot.
