We’ve had such a great experience with Sylvan! Everyone is always so kind, professional, patient, and understanding. I really appreciate how they take the time to work with my daughter individually and figure out exactly what she needs to be successful. I came here once and I witnessed an altercation with one of the women working and a child. She was verbally berating this child because she was refusing to pay attention or learn. I attempted to tell her (the employee) to calm down and that she should not be speaking like that but she told me that I needed to mind my own business because I do not work there. Then I watched her grab them so hard that she began to cry. I contacted their management but they did not respond to me and it has been over a week. Do NOT go here
I can’t thank Sylvan enough for the progress my son has made! He has had small gaps in his english since covid due to having to be online for his first 2 years of school. I did try another tutoring place, and at first they did help, but over time I noticed they repeated worksheets and my son ended up just tracing or remembering the work. My daughter has been attending sessions at the Northridge location for almost a year now and I have see so much positive improvement in her Reading comprehension and writing. Michele and the entire team there are wonderful to work with and I am so grateful for how much they have helped my daughter improve.
