RecommendedVery comfortable place to live! Amanda made it so easy for us from the start of an application, thru the approval process, and move in! Neighbors have been considerate of noise. Love that they take the extra time and effort to put out stations for dog droppings (wish there was a better way to catch those not using them). RecommendedI've lived at Horizon at Hillcrest for almost two years. I love the people here. Management makes you feel like family and maintenance guys are friendly and give great service. They love the pets. although yes there are some breed restrictions and dog waste can be a problem. If tenants realized their pets are their responsibility it wouldn't be though. I love the tenants here too. We are family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I would suggest talking to someone about all of the hidden charges before deciding to live here. You’ll also step in a lot of dog poop.
They have a poor management team that can't even agree on the rules. Whispering rude things about dog breeds while on the phone with a potential tenant, inconsistent answers to questions, desperate to fill space. Something's fishy here, I recommend finding somewhere with better customer service and some consistency
Fantastic place to stay! We’ve spent roughly 3-4 years here and love it! The maintenance manager is an awesome guy and is always on point! The people at the front office are friendly and always looking to assist. The dog park provided our dogs with plenty of friends (even though one of ours is a barking monster). Also, some neighbors have become great friends of ours! I would highly recommend Sylvan Lakes Apartments to anyone looking for a secure and positive place to stay in Sylvania, Ohio.

Awesome place to live. I've never had a problem with management or neighbors. The head of maintenance Curt is awesome. Would recommend to family and friends
