My friend and I rented from humboldt heights in Green Bay last year. When we first signed the lease the manager was Ashley. She told us that we were set to move in and pick up our keys on August first. So on August first we drove an hour and a half with all of our stuff and THERE WAS NO BODY THERE TO GIVE US OUR KEYS! We contacted the main office and were told there was no manager on office and to come back the next week (while we paid for rent at an apartment we weren't able to live in yet) when we finally recieced our keys... read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Be careful - they own multiple complexes all over Wisconsin. I moved from one apartment to an upper in a building next door and the idiot landlord (Alison - Stone Ridge Apts. in De Pere) tried to say the paint was ruined and the owner of Sylvan was going to charge me almost $1,000. I offered to paint it myself, and they agreed, Alison came to check when I was finished and said it looked fine. The owner still charged me for someone painting it - $900!! Scam....don't rent from these people. WARNING...don't do it. You wont get a rent certificate, any money back, or anything fixed. The office never responds to messages and I was charged exactly half of a water bill even though its not in my lease and I live in a duplex! Please don't rent from these people because you will become another victim. Anyone who hasn't had their problems resolved should contact the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer protection because they already have 10 complaints. This busine... read more

Do not rent at Humboldt Heights, Green Bay, WI. Sylvan Development owns this complex. They also go by Green Bay Properties II. I rented there for 5 years and when Sylvan Development took over the complex went downhill. They rented to anyone and I mean anyone...just to fill the apartments. Manager after manager quit because they were promised to be repaid for repairs (and they were extensive) and they were not. Salaries were not met either.
