If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was adamant about wanting to stop an antidepressant to which he was dismissive about. He had my therapist relay messages between us and refused to give me a call or a tapering schedule. He had my therapist tell me to “stop the medication, no need to taper.” Unbelievable. I’ve been on a high dose since November of last year and he wants me to suddenly stop this antidepressant? Especially since I had bad withdrawal symptoms from a previous med. Best Dr around. Highly recommended
Told me he was retiring and basically gave me 3 weeks to find a new doctor before my meds expired. Meds that cause severe withdrawal symptoms. He didnt give a crap if I had a damn seizure from stopping the medication he prescribed me for over a year. Basically hooking me on meds and then just was done with me one day. All he would say was find a new doctor. Not that easy considering they all have months long waiting lists. Id like to thank him for showing me that doctors really dont care about their patients
He was the only one who listened and helped me with my PTSD and debilitating anxiety social anxiety panic attacks manic bipolar I respect this man 100%
