Dr. Fermi’s skill and expertise is top notch. I have been under his care for five years and yesterday was given a 5year clearance. Sometimes the scheduling is challenging as he is in demand, but keep at it. He’s worth it. From my first visit, he was upfront and thorough about what the process was going to be (and fortunately for me my outcome was positive) but the process wasn’t a surprise and was worth it. Highly recommend and I drove from Riverside County to see him as he was recommended to me by my gastroenterologist.
Excellent. I was a new patient seeking second opinion. I had not provided any documents for prior review and wanted unbiased opinion. I was just amazed how empathic Dr Fehmi was during this visit. He guided me very logically through a very challenging case and made it appear so simple. I walked out absolutely sure in my mind how best to proceed with my care with an excellent understanding of plan of care. Difficult to admit, but I also walked out with many personal tips as regards how an experienced, humble and talented phys... read more
Dr. Fehmi may be qualified in his field, but he treated me, as a patient, impersonally and without interest. He was late, curt with the surgical team, and, quite frankly, rude and arrogant. I don't think being a good surgeon discounts one from behaving courteously.
I am very impressed with his invaluable expertise and I felt very comfortable having him as my surgeon and specialist. Basically he rescued me from an emergency and dire situation. He saved my life a few weeks ago. He knows his field well, takes the time with his patient, explains procedures so it is easy to understand them. He is cordial and caring. I know I am in good hands under him.
This physician is thorough and sharp. Complete confidence and a life-saver to many.
This review is far overdue. My dad has a very complicated medical history. I sought a 2nd opinion from Dr. Fehmi as his current doctors at the time were suggesting no other treatments could be done and that hospice was the next step. My dad had been bleeding, what we thought was uncontrollably, for months. In a short 15 minute procedure, he stopped the bleeding that for months, others doctors couldn't. Long story short - my dad would not be alive right now had it not been for him. I am indebted.
Dr. Fehmi is a very caring and considerate Dr. He has been an integral partof my care team. He is sharp and he is proactive. I have a complicated medical history- however Dr. Fehmi is the the reason I am alive. I owe him my life his aggressive surveillance of ny condition has led to early catching of cancer- more than once. In addition- There is no one better at ERCP. He is the worlds best. Any patient would be luck to be in his care.
Very knowledgeable. Listens to the patient. Explains procedures very well. Many doctor friends got procedures done on themselves or family members by him. I found him spot on when it came to diagnosing myself. I see him once a year now to make sure all going well and he is very detailed every time. Really cares for him patients. I was lucky to get him but since establishing care with him, so many others have recommended him or have mentioned that I was lucky to have him as a physician.
I had a colonoscopy with Dr Femhi where went okay. When recovering he camethough and explianed to me and my husband what he found. He said he took biopsys. After 3 weeks of calling his officefor him to dicsuss the results he STILL HAS NOT CALLED ME BACK!!!!! BTW as he was ending the conversation the day of the procedure he had to rush off,
