We came to Dr. Cameron to get a second opinion after seeing a paediatric dentist “specialist” in Meadowbank and I use quotation marks because I doubt this dentist was a specialist in tongue ties - upon speaking with Dr. Cameron about our experience with this particular dentist he knew straight away who we were referring to even without mentioning his name. Lovely clinic, Prof Cameron was lovely no tongue tie which was good news. His lactation consultant gave some good tips to help with the symptoms we’d had
I truly can't thank Professor Angus Cameron and the lovely lactation specialist Jenny that works with him. She's an absolute God send. Prof Cameron assured me that my son didn't have a tongue tie after an examination and although I was relieved, that meant I was back to square one with him not feeding. He sent me into Jenny in the next room and after only 5 minutes with her, my son was breastfeeding again. My son had his tongue tie removed by Prof Angus Cameron when he was about two weeks old. We were so glad that we made the decision get Prof Cameron to operate on our son - the mini surgery was done very efficiently, with minimal bleeding, and my son didn’t cry at all, and was able to drink milk after the operation immediately thereafter, with the helpful guidance of the in house lactation consultant in the clinic.
