I have had a really rough journey with breastfeeding. We have seen multiple LCs and gone through a process of elimination as to the cause of my excruciating pain. We ruled out staph infection, nipple thrush and lanolin allergy, nipple shields didn’t help, perfected positioning and ensured the correct latch. if I could give out negative I would ! scheduled for tongue tie surgery with Dr Cameron in 6/13 Waratah Street, Mona Vale, done everything he recommended to do ( 2 hours travelling time just to get there ) before surgery then received a text saying "has reviewed your treatment plan and he won't be able to perform the frenectomy procedure" absolute waste of time and money.
Dr Cameron was really wonderful with our 2 year old daughter. He put us at ease and made the experience a positive one.
We came to Dr. Cameron to get a second opinion after seeing a paediatric dentist “specialist” in Meadowbank and I use quotation marks because I doubt this dentist was a specialist in tongue ties - upon speaking with Dr. Cameron about our experience with this particular dentist he knew straight away who we were referring to even without mentioning his name.
