Last night my boyfriend took me here to have dinner for Valentine's Day. We had reservations for 8pm and had a brief 10 minute wait to be seated. We didn't mind the short wait and used the time to take a few pictures outside. Upon being seated I was given a beautiful long stemmed red rose! I thought that was a nice touch. It has been a while since we have stayed here and probably won't come back. First I called ahead to have a dozen roses placed in the room with a card for my wife as it is her birthday and Valentine's Day. I was told it would be forty dollars for dozen roses and I said no problem. We arrived and decided to eat at their restaurant. We were seated with it being about half full of people. Hubby and I were looking for a quiet retreat. We were thrilled with our service and our entire stay. The only complaint I have is that we did not stay longer.... Bag handlers were efficient and friendly as were the rest of the staff. Room was beautiful, clean, and inviting. Our tub was perfect as well. We will return.

Sycamore Mineral Springs is my happy place. My boyfriend brought me here for the first time after music camp two and a half years ago. We visit whenever we pass through this part of the state from Sonoma County and the San Francisco Bay Area. The facilities are always clean and luxurious, the food is unbelievably incredible, and the staff has always been the sweetest and most helpful; a shining example of perfect and genuine customer service. The only reason I write reviews is to inform the public about how great or how terrible a place is . Unfortunately the sycamore mineral springs resort is terrible . I had a reservation booked for two days ,they pre- charged me for the first day . on my way there from los Angeles (which is 3 hours away ) I called the resort and let them know that I had forgotten the credit card that was used to book the room . Husband and I are coming all the way from LA for the hot mineral springs, turn out, the water from the hot tub was not hot, water came out icy cold. We called the front desk and was told they are currently out of hot water. WTF? We paid for nearly 300 bucks for an icy tub?? Are you kidding me? The room seems old, and I found trace of ants everywhere, in bed, on the counter and in toilet. The room isn't as clean as I wish it is. I am sure will not come back in the future .
