Lovely getaway for my husbands birthday. They rain made it perfect for the experience. The resort provided A courtesy shuttle to and from the hot pools as well as umbrellas as needed.
Had a beautiful king suite with a private tub on deck. Wonderful duet couples massage and soak in hillside tubs. Fresh, garden grown and tasty gourmet food at the Avila Restaurant. Look forward to returning soon.
We have been coming to Sycamore for soaks and massages for many years..Being locals, we haven't stayed there since the late 80s. We always feel we get excellent massages and noticed the hot tubs are nicely renovated this time with Treks type decking. We only suggest that the spa staff be slightly more welcoming. We were told we were early, which we were so we didn't have to rush to change and go soak before our massages. They asked us to wait in the gift shop which was odd and kept us waiting 10 minutes. I only stayed one night. It is a beautiful relaxing place. I enjoyed the private spa. I think that they could at least offer a continental breakfast, even lower cost hotels offer that and I never did see the fresh chocolate chip cookies they show on the advertisement on the internet. I also think they should let you check in a little earlier than 4 so you have more time to enjoy the place!
