I was raised Baptist and I like very much the Old Time preaching which does not care about being 'politically correct', but rather cares about God's truth, whether it be the 'hard saying', as in John 6:60, or just plain preaching of obedience!!!
Our first Missionary at Gospel Light BC was the Sword back in 2002. Over 80 years in ministry and still the same doctrinally, which is almost unheard of in this day of compromise. Dr.Shelton Smith is a fantastic example of a man and is THE right man for the leadership at the Sword. I am not the least bit concerned about the ministry drifting away from the Authority of the Word. The paper and the National Conference are such a blessing to myself and to my church. We have complete confidence in the Sword of the Lord!
The Sword of the Lord has always been a top reference tool for truth and true Christian trends. It is a reliable source of the news of the day and the premier source for the dissemination of the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. I have been familiar with for over forty years. It is one of the great institutions.
