I left this practice well over a year ago because of unwillingness of Dr Swisher to take the time to answer questions. His office staff is very discourteous as well. I agree with the others who say that it appears that you have to be chosen to be a patient there. Apparently, you are not allowed to question anything. They will also charge you an arm and a leg to transfer your records to another doctor. Sadly, it did not used to be this way years ago.

Been with him over 10 years when all of a sudden his office manager and himself decides that my wife and I are no longer allowed to be his patients. I believe his office manager is his wife. Because of a interaction between my wife acting on behalf of her employer questioning a patient's bill they decide that we are aggressive and threatening. We have never been late on a bill and have never given them cause for such actions. I tried talking to dr. Swisher about it and he refused.

I would never recommend this doctor! His nurse Rachel is the most unprofessional person I've ever experience in a healthcare office. The office is a joke and the professionalism of his Nurse is nonexistent.

When I first started coming here I really liked Dr. Swisher. He was thorough and had an excellent bedside manner. It has changed so much now that I will have to find a different practice. The nurse practitioners are hit or miss. The staff is just not great on average which is a shame because I like the Dr.

Dr. Swisher does take time to listen, is kind and personable. The NPs in his practice are terrible. I will not see either one of them. His staff does not seem to be on top of patient referrals. I've waited a week after being referred only to call the office and have them say, "we just sent that yesterday".

I would never recommend visiting DR Swisher again. I understand medical practices MUST make money to stay in business, but I have been making payments to DR. Swisher's office for long as I can remember; I called to request medication refills and was told I would need to pay a minimum of $225 in order to receive them. I have been on these medications for 2 years; they are not controlled substances. I was in disbelief when I was denied my medications. Medical necessity takes precedent over money.

His staff have very poor bedside manners. I literally sat there while the nurse practitioner who saw me inquire with the internet to see what could have caused my rash. You would think that she would recommend an allergy test to see what caused the reaction so I can know to stay away from that thing but no she said " yea, I don't really know what is causing your rash. Take Benedryl." SERIOUSLY! 35 dollar copay gone down the drain. I now see why I can so easily get an appointment!

My son went to Dr swisher office with sore throat, white spots on his throat, fatigue and abdominal pain. Was told it was just a virus and was sent home with antibiotics "just in case". The next day he woke up with severe jaundice, went to the ER to be diagnosed with mono and liver complications . He received fluids for dehydration. Called the office to ask how they could have missed this, noone would talk to me. We got a letter the next week to drop us as patients. I do not recommend.
