RecommendedVisited from Buffalo. About a 3 hour drive, but a nice, beautiful ride going through the finger lakes. The swim area was amazing. The kids and I only managed to make it down 1 trail, but there were sooo many more trails to pick from. Cabins and camping area were very nice... we peaked in some empty cabins and they were clean, and very cute. Probably would actually have to spend a weekend in order to see everything in the park, or at least walk every trail. It is open during the covid-19 pandemic, parking are open on both the Upper & Lower level. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine, and can be use all day for any other state park in the area. Both hiking trails are open, one way only. (Might need to go all the way and back or go half way and onto the other trail to go back to your parking).
