Only went for a day visit. The park is peaceful. Lots of picnic areas, well maintained and clean. Plan to revisit in the spring.
We stayed 4 nights @ park. It was a nice park, but don't stay in camping area #1. We had electrical problems the whole stay. We reported it to the office, and nothing was done. The morning we were rigging down to leave the park man came by and we confronted him about problems, He said they knew about wore out electrical systems and had been having issues for some time. He did say they were going to do repairs to the #1 camping area before next year. The bath house also needed attention (old & rundown). Other than dealing w/e... read more
I sure enjoyed my time there . It was well worth the drive.
Beautiful place to get outside and explore. Great areas to take children to run and play. Definitely plan to go again soon!
Great weekend camping. Not very crowded. Quiet. Great wading and fishing. And as always, the park and camp sites were imaculate. One of my favorite places to camp.
