About this business

Lowcountry BBQ never tasted any better. We're smoking all day so you don't have to!! We use nothing but high quality hickory, pecan, and other hard woods, and take our time to make sure the final product is the best that it can be. It is said that “Low and Slow” is BBQ and we agree. Stop by for some award-winning, authentic BBQ and a cold pint of your favorite craft beer. Sit back, relax and get your Swig and Swine on with us...

My mom and I came to charleston for a random weekend vacation and Swig & Swine was our first stop and we were obsessed afterwards. The only thing we didn't like was the pork belly, but it was the first time we had ever tried it. Everything else was absolutely delicious, I wish there was one in Florida!!!

Amazing ribs and brisket and the Mac and cheese is creamy with bread crumbs added for texture. The collards have too much vinegar for me but my honey loves the beans!! Can't go wrong with family platter so you can try a little bit of everything!! VERY friendly staff and service at both locations.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had- brisket was tender and flavorful, pulled pork moist and tasty. Didn't bother with any of their sauces- not needed! Small but good selection of craft beers, too.

So based on the reviews I chose Swig and Swine. Big mistake. $9 got me a small BBQ sandwich of which much had to be spit out because it was not chewable (grit and cartilage). My side was the Mac&Cheese and it was not good either. The water tasted like soap water. Way over priced and super poor quality. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back to Swig & Swine but I will... read more

The main meats were amazing. The sides were even more amazing. They had a corn casserole side special; get it if you can.
